Shipping policy
At Merry Tails Pawtisserie, all of our treats are handmade with care and baked fresh in small batches. This means your order is prepared especially for your pup, not pulled from a warehouse shelf.
Below is everything you need to know about how we ship your treats.
Order Processing
All orders are baked fresh and made to order.
Please allow 3–5 business days for your treats to be prepared and dispatched (excluding weekends and public holidays).
You’ll receive an order confirmation email as soon as your purchase is complete, followed by a shipping confirmation with tracking once your order is on its way.
Shipping Within Australia
We currently ship Australia-wide only.

Standard Shipping: $12 flat rate

Express Shipping: $16 flat rate

Free Standard Shipping: on orders over $100
We ship primarily via Australia Post, however we may occasionally use other trusted carriers to ensure timely delivery.

3–7 business days (metro areas)
Slightly longer for regional or remote locations -
Express Shipping:
1–3 business days (metro areas)
2–5 business days for regional locations
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and begin once your order has been dispatched.
Order Tracking
All orders include tracking.
Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive an email with your tracking number so you can follow your treats all the way to your door.
Shipping Address Accuracy
Please ensure your shipping address is correct and complete at checkout.
Merry Tails Pawtisserie cannot be responsible for delays or non-delivery due to incorrect or incomplete address details provided at the time of purchase.
Delivered but Missing Parcels
Once an order has been marked as Delivered by the carrier, responsibility for the parcel transfers to the recipient.
If your order is marked as delivered but cannot be located, we recommend:

Contacting the carrier directly using your tracking number
While we’re unable to offer refunds or replacements for parcels confirmed as delivered, we’re always happy to assist you in contacting the carrier if needed.
Damaged Orders or Issues
We take great care in packaging your treats to ensure they arrive safely.
If your order arrives damaged or there is an issue with your treats, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@merrytails.com.au.

Returns & Consumer Guarantees

We comply with Australian Consumer Law, which entitles you to a replacement or refund if a product is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose.
Due to the nature of our products, remedies will typically involve a replacement or refund rather than repair.
